History of Springfield Yellow Cab Company
Springfield Yellow Cab Company was originally established as Black and White Transit Cab Company in March of 1952. The corporation changed the name to Red Top Cab Company, in May, 1954. The company adopted the name Springfield Yellow Cab Company, Inc. in November of 1959.
Mr. Kenneth Butrick ("Kenny" to most everyone) took over operations of Springfield Yellow Cab Company, Inc. in 1970 and continued until his passing in 2004. Mr. Butrick's passion for his company was evident to everyone he worked with and throughout the community. He is greatly missed by everyone who ever knew him.
Currently, the operations of Springfield Yellow Cab Company are in the capable hands of his son, Kyle Butrick. Kenny would be proud of the advances that are being made in the company and the standards of honesty, loyalty and morality that are being upheld.
